ELABORATIONS
Elaborations. Fourth of five suites, in three scenes, of the cycle Trances, for two acoustic grand pianos, in preparation, 2028 (105 minutes).
Scene 1 – Creation. Scene 2 – Conception. Scene 3 – Realization.
Elaborations will focus on the act of creation and the gestation process that leads to the completion of the created object. This suite will symbolically cover the different stages of the composition of the work, from the first spark of an idea or an image, which suddenly springs from the object to be created or the project to be carried out, to the fabrication or realization inscribed in the reality of this object. Between the initial intuition and the tangible object, fixed in time, the work of development and transformation of the work is marked by a perpetual movement that leads, at the very end, to the static and immutable materiality of the creative result.
